FARLOFT POEM

Once upon a time
In a land far away,
Lived a dragon named Farloft
Who would sing and dance all day.

Plenty was the food
And rivers did abound,
Days were always fun
When Farloft was around.

Quickly, he grew up
Very handsome was he,
Always happy and
Grinned toothily.

From high upon a cliff
The land stretched far and wide,
Farloft learned to soar
And exactly how to glide.

Then one day
Dark clouds loomed,
The volcano rumbled hard
The land was doomed.

Flying low and swiftly
to avoid cinder and ash,
Looking ahead the family landed
On a patch of greenest grass.

The land was fair
And trails did wind,
They searched high and low
Another home to find.

Farloft grew lonely
But there he met Clearair,
With a happy dance, he took a chance
And love filled the air.

Sun now shining
And flying over the glade,
He lighted upon a hillside
And forever there, he stayed.
