Beyond the pearly gates
Lies a land vast and wide,
All is peace forever more and
One does safely abide.
Beyond the pearly gates
Families play and angels sing,
And everyone humbly bows
In the presence of the King.
Beyond the pearly gates
Homes are mansions, streets of pure gold,
Nothing dies in this land nor
Does anyone or anything ever grow old.
Beyond the pearly gates
All is truth, there are no lies,
Hearts are light, and
The air is filled with peaceful sighs.
Beyond the pearly gates
The lion lays down by the lamb,
Ones who once were enemies now
Gathers at the table of the great I Am.
Beyond the pearly gates
Grass is always green, there are no earthquakes,
Trees and flowers are always in bloom
And blue skies await.
Beyond the pearly gates
Lies a land vibrant and pure,
God's love and peace supremely reigns
Death is defeated, and all is secure.
