Upon this great world
The evening dusk falls,
Buzzing bees are scampering in
The
farmer, the cattle he calls.
The sun will soon set low
And the day will quickly fade,
That's
just what happens
When summer fades away.
The air turns crisp
Leaves crunch beneath our feet,
Cover up dear earth
It's time to go to sleep.
The stars now twinkling
Dancing a cool night's ballet,
That's just what happens
When summer fades away.
Leaves are falling
One by one,
September's show
Has now begun.
In a coat of many colors,
The hills and dales now on display,
That's just what happens
When summer fades away.
