Come,
Let’s have a cup of tea.
The day draws on,
And we’ve just been ever so busy.
We’ll sit here and,
Rest our feet a while.
We’ll sip our tea,
And watch the clouds go by.
With delicacies all ordered,
We’ll have but a few.
We’ll be refreshed in no time,
And feel as good as new.
With spring at hand,
There’s no better day.
To sit with a friend,
And have a cup of Earl or Lady Grey.

For the snow has melted away.
I long for green on the trees,
And long sunny days.
Hurry up spring,
Winter is all done.
It’s time for flowers to bloom,
And the song of summer to be sung.
Hurry up spring,
Bunnies are looking for the greener grass.
The squirrels want to come out to play,
And birds are looking for worms, passing the time away.
Hurry up spring,
The grass needs the rain.
The trees are thirsty,
And children outside have everything to gain.
Hurry up spring,
The bees are a buzzing.
The daffodils are smiling,
As they’ve awakened from their slumber.
Puffy clouds floating by,
Rays of sun touching the earth.
Hearts are full
As spring has birthed.
